Important information from the School Nurse

The Nurses are available 7:15am to 2:25pm M-F. Our phone number is 203-720-5440 or 203-720-5441. Our fax number is 203-720-5432. Any fax received is confidential.

Health Assessment Physicals and sports physical forms should be given to the Nurses directly, not handed to their athletic coach or home room teacher. During summer hours, they can be dropped off at Tuttle or mailed to the high school.

If your child is ill, please call them out sick to the attendance office at 203-720-5403. Any student who is sent home with a fever of 100 degrees or higher should stay home until they are fever free for 24 hours. The nurse will excuse a dismissal for fever of >100 degrees, undiagnosed rash or suspicious infectious illness with a follow up doctor's note to return to school.

Current 10th graders are required to have a physical this school year. We accept physicals dated 7/1/16-6/30/17 as their 10th grade physical. If your 11th grader did not hand in their 10th grade physical, they will not be allowed to start school on the first day until we receive their physical.

We are no longer able to give Tylenol or Ibuprofen to your child without a doctor's order. Please print out a Medication Administration form(found on this web site under forms) or ask your child to stop by the nurses' office for a form.
