PowerSchool Parent Portal – gives parents round the clock availability to all their students’ (in grades 7-12) grades and attendance information.

If you have not done so yet, each parent needs to create a new account and add their student(s) to that account. If you created an account in middle school, this account will still be active for high school.
Navigate to the PowerSchool page:

„h Look to the bottom of the screen and click on CREATE to set up a new account,
„h Enter any username and password that you desire - it is not assigned.
„h Once the account is created, you will be prompted to add your student(s):

mySchoolBucks is a convenient and secure online payment service that allows you to deposit money directly into your child's school meal account and view balance/purchase information for the past ninety days.

From this website you can create your account and add money to your child's school meal account. You will need the following information: child's name, school, and student ID number. **
Things to know:

„h If you have more than one child in the District you can handle all online prepayments from the same online account.
„h A small convenience fee for each transaction will be assessed to cover the bank fees: $1.95 per deposit transaction. Parents placing money into multiple meal accounts will only be assessed the $1.95 fee once per deposit transaction. Naugatuck Public Schools will not profit from the use of this site.

There is no cost to use the website to view your child's account history.

If you choose not to take advantage of the online payment service you may continue to make advance payments via cash or check, made payable to Naugatuck Lunch Program. Please write your child's full name on the check.

SchoolMessenger alerts parents immediately to any school closings, schedule changes and other urgent issues by telephone and/or email.

We will be utilizing SchoolMessenger to provide notification services for emergency broadcasts, weather related notices, parental outreach and student attendance communications for PreK-12 education. We will be able to automatically call parents for a variety of reasons that impact the safety and academic performance of students.

Please review and complete the form designating how you would like to receive emergency and general information notifications and return it on Freshman Orientation.
